I was curious to see 1. How good was Claude, 2. How good did we write our methods sections. I gave Claude just the PDF of Puchowicz and Skiba FPCA study the paper (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40829766) and a subset of the full data. The prompts was fairly simple:

“You are Claude working in an R project folder in Positron. You will follow Anthropic best practices. Your
task is to replicate the analysis from the methods in the resarch paper in this folder. You will write the r
scripts to replicate the analysis generate the tables and figures. You will include robust comments to make
each step in the r scripts clear. If you do not have enough information to complete a portion of the study you will say so and not do that part. You can use poppler to read the pdf. poppler is here: C:\Program
Files\poppler”
